A Handled Beech Plow Plane by H. Chapin, Union Factory, No 237, with boxwood arms and nuts and brass fittings. Chapin was an active tool maker from1828 to 1860, he employed 36 shop hands according to the 1860 cencus. The Union Factory was located in New Hartford, CT. Good++
