A Pair of Stanley Hollow & Round, No 10 with irons. Made for the No 45 Combination Plane. Nickel plated. 1890 to 1942. Hollow and Round attachments with cutters were offered by Stanley at additional charge starting in 1886. They were not patented until Feb. 23, 1886 (filed Jan. 29, 1885). Extra short rods for use with the H & R were offered in the 1884 catalog only. Thus, it is assumed the rods were always standard equipment with the plane after this date. Good++ Hard to find with the cutters.
