for the wonderful condition of the Norris A-5 plane I purchased

I recently purchased a Stanley #3 smoothing
plane form you and wanted to take a moment to tell you how much
I have enjoyed using it. I have small restoration carpentry business
which I specialize working on homes in three national historical
districts. I have just finished replacing six windows in a home
which was built in 1856 (that's old for the midwest). I had to
build up inside casings by gluing together three different profiles
of moldings. The smoothing plane was used extensively in this
process. it worked beautifully. I could have set up my jointer
but the hand plane was quicker, left same planing marks which
added character, and could be used on the scaffolding thus saving
me from doing a lot of
unnecessary climbing. Thanks again.
